First of all I never thought 2.90 would be hit today. Guess I am still too used to Telstra getting pushed one step down for every two steps going up. I had $2.90 as a major resistance given that it was the closest top going back to 8/9/2010. Looking at the intra-day chart it seems some short stops got hit when 2.91 was touched at 3:12 pm and it touched $2.95. It was quickly brought down to 2.90 within 10 minutes though.
So ladies and gentlemen that is what short stops getting hit look like when suitably stroked.
