Yes, but the dominant factor is still likely to be tax loss selling considering what has happened to the share price in the financial year. I personally don't buy or sell for tax considerations, but that kind of behaviour is a well known contributor to the seasonal weakness observed in markets in May/June.
I didn't sell ACX to lock in a profit.I reassessed my view of the business after the recent HY results, and decided I was carrying too much risk holding it at these levels. I am still positive longer term, and will look to buy in at some point in the future. I am long only - I don't short stocks.
