IMO revenue comparisons are meaningless, tells you nothing about the underlying business.
My mate Fred generates millions of revenue per year selling luxury cars while on the other hand John turns over a tenth of that figure selling $10 items on eBay that cost him less than $1 each. What would the respective revenue figures tell us about the profits enjoyed by either Fred or John.
Better to look at the profit figure in addition to the S&M spend that drives it & the R&D spend that supports future sales.
Finally IMO the growth trend of both EPS & ROE will tell you volumes about the underlying business, particularly when choosing one to invest in.
