Real short selling adds liquidity @longing, and that is fine. Buying and selling simultaneously within a company, via subsidiary holdings, only creates the illusion of liquidity, especially if it is conducted off market.

My problem is not really with the shorters (though the mentality is strange to me) it's with the sp manipulators, who act illegally, trying to cap a share price or drive it down (or up) artificially.

But they only think they are invisible. ASIC may have a different opinion.

ACX has tremendous potential, and will win out sooner rather than later. It's just regrettable that these less than savoury types can muddy the waters with their unethical & illegal tactics.
