Caution is certainly warranted just now, but who knows what lies ahead within the next 48 hours? Yesterday's rally the last hour on the ASX for Lihir was ludicrous given oil was cascading lower most of the day. Clearly the BHP good news brought out the mums and dads to push LGL to $3.91 and the other majors in the resource sector to fresh highs. The real conundrum for me is at what point might the PPT intervene to protect the USD from tanking on the Index....78?....77?
In any event, my guess is that LGL will visit the mid $3.80's today.
