Some time last year the Dept of defence here decided to restrict any quantum tech innovation from any startups here from being shared abroad. Could this be another reason why founders of startups, like Mo had to abandon future plans of taking Quantum to WEF , Europe and the world. Quite possible IMO. QCtril shifted some of its R&D abroad last year before this came into effect.
And this should also mean that the DoD or the government will have to fund and nurture parts of AXE's quantum work. If not all of it. I specifically mean the 12CQ cutting edge work of room temperature quantum processors. Some of the R&D is happening in London and EPFL in Europe. Depending on when it established these facilities, it could be exempt from these stringent export controls.
Whatever the situation, we have to be pleased that AXE has products and strategies outlined above that are NOT affected by the quantum protectionism.
