    I was re reading this last quantum announcement precision spin state control

    and a have a few more bits of news that tell us what's next.

    Here's what AXE has achieved -

    - high density electron spins. Meaning one spin state is measurably much more than the other spin state in a 2 state system. Which then means it can be easily magnetised. It can have very subtle magnetism readings based on the angular momentum of the spin. All this to say, it is easily measurable. Read out is easier.

    - can easily register two distinct quantum states in the carbon film. And can be identified as 2 energy values. This capability is enhanced by the long coherence times.

    - successfully coupled spin state to a resonator. Meaning successfully entangled an electron spin qubit state with a resonator. This in itself is already a functional shared quantum state, except it's at cryogenic temps needed for the superconducting resonator to function. This resonator can manipulate the values of each qubit. It can also be an intermediary between 2 qubits and entangle them. This is the fundamental building block for constructing a quantum processor.

    While these are all the lead and jump off points to the 12CQ processor, they very neatly lend themselves now to being ultra sophisticated sensors. This is like having your cake and eating it. The high magnetic properties of the electron spins themselves make sensing and read out at room temperature doable. Which is why the TMR sensor pathway is a thing for AXE. And I would venture to say AXE can re name its product and call it something else based on which quantum behaviour it ends up measuring to achieve an even greater information edge.

    Questions to ask are, is anyone at the DoD reading these technical updates and progress. Is any other interested party connecting the dots and wanting to talk to AXE about collaboration. Based on this work so far, the future direction is increasingly clear. And all along the way to a processor there are ways to put this tech at this stage to use. The hybridised coupling with a resonator is a well known path. The "avoided crossing" is a well known tell-tale sign of discrete information in a qubit. The "coupling" is another name for entanglement and is always the crucial requirement for quantum information sharing, networking and transport. Is AXE talking to people in the know. I'm very sure they are. 2 reasons to do so. The ability to engineer materials that access quantum behaviour has to be of high sovereign and strategic value. And to proceed with this work all the way to a 12CQ at room temp will require oodles of cash.
