I have read through the old records and there are most definitely fibrous minerals in the mineralisation. I'm sure that the issue of fibrous minerals (potentially asbestos) has not been addressed publicly by NWC.
I asked Mike about it by phone maybe 18 months ago and he said they were looking into it. If there isn't a problem they may tell someone over the phone. If there is a problem they most certainly won't tell an individual. I am invested in NWC but remain nervous that this issue will be sprung on us in the PFS.
@2ic is right in saying that the MRE was high because there were heaps of internal waste included in the estimate. I wonder if they'll elect to use a more selective mining method for some areas of the orebody and leave that waste behind?
