i took a small position in this today, I hope I made the right choice, imo hold up pretty well on a horrendous day, the reason I belief that it didn't went higher is due to low s/h confidence in AED, give it a a few days when the deal is crystallised then we should see it in the $3 mark.
This is how I'm intrepreting the recent announcement just my opinion:
After the deal is done AED should have:
$300m in cash, no debts and 40% interest in the JV.
Given that SINOPEC is more experience in the operation part I really think that 20,000 is achievable, and marginal cost of additional barrel will go down which means better profit margin and greater NP.
