Akida is the first genuine commercial release of a Neuromorphic Chip that is now a complete package for engineers and developers.
No it isn't. Akida is a prototype running on a FGPA. The commercial ASIC chip will cost around $30 million and probably take 1-3 years. Evaluation will probably take another 2-3 years. So 2025 is about the earliest you could expect a commercial release.
TrueNorth is already 12 years into development. It was manufactured in 2014 and is still being evaluated
Don't believe the BRN hype.
