Same here lol. Gained a little initially and then lost all including capital for holding too long with the hope of finding the next Olympic dam in tenements that perfectly align with OD, LoL. You know all those solid and dotted lines in company Anns that are drawn parallel to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It’s more emotional to lose money when it’s hard earned. Better to invest a siazeable amount that’s not sourced from salary - sell something to source capital, it’s less emotional to lose. Investing is a ‘business’ where one needs to strive to lessen the emotion, get used to winning a lot and not regret losing a lot of times, then with lessons learned and experience, win big. Initially lost 30t, then 60t the following year, before gaining ten fold of prior year losses. Those losses taught me the lessons to lessen emotions and regrets. So somewhere early or anytime along the journey, everyone pays for their lessons by losing some or quite a bit. Want to stop losing? Stop investing.
