Ok - starting Dec #1 thread. This will be day 1 of Lynas being officially in the top 100. Let's see how the behaviour changes. I am expecting an increase in volatility in the first few days as we should have new players moving in to change the existing balance.

Background to this thread

This thread has evolved from a series of threads that were previously running in the LYC Forum .

After discussions with the Moderators we were advised that the best location for discussing the short term trading behaviours of Lynas was in this [Short Term Trading] Forum (the posts in which are visible when the quick search (top left) is used). So you will see all LYC posts from both Forums together in one place (as compared to Day Traders Forum where you can't specify a Symbol that you are discussing that gets picked up on the quick search).

A new thread is started each week - to keep the length of the thread down.

This is not in any meant to be any sort of exclusive Forum and from activity/posts over the past few weeks benefits all kinds of investors eg would also help those longer termers who are increasing or decreasing their position but are looking to execute their trade during a particular day (to get their best bang for buck).

So the use of this series of threads in this Forum would predominantly (but not exclusively) be used for:
- pre-open and closing SPA activity
- intraday and interday trends
- discuss robot activity
- blocking trades
- buy/sell imbalances
- big buys
- iceberg activity
- crossing trade activity (incl centrepoint)

and as per Posting Guidelines on this whole site would NOT be for:
- ramping of any kind
- flaming, personal attacks etc
