Today could be a bit volatile:
- getting close to Christmas
- even lighter Friday volumes
- market depth lighter
- more violent movements if big orders placed at market
- market up strongly yesterday but Lynas subdued (could just be a catch up)
My overall view ATM is that:
- Daily RSI is high (60ish on ETrade) but Lynas doesn't tend to turn until 70ish (different programs produce different RSI values but the trends are the same)
- Intraday RSI ATM is near to useless for Lynas
- MACD (the way I use it) doesn't indicate to me any reversal
Today's plan will basically be to fade any weakness (reduce exposure into a decline) then look to re-establish position near or at close (I still prefer to be in for the weekend on a Flintstone basis (haven't seen him for a while though)....and obviously if it goes bullish again just stay on the ride.
