It is amazing how some chefs are so unpretenious and just love to create great food.
When we lived in Hobart we used to frequent Lebrina. A wonderful little Georgian sandstone property which consisted of a few small, intimate rooms and for groups there was a Chef's Table.
Food was typically French influenced with a curated wine list of local offerings. Their daube of lamb was sensational - I tried to replicate (unsuccesfully I might add).
Likewise I had read recently that they too have closed but the last I saw was the Scott was opening up by appointment - such is the times we currently live in.
