When pricing jobs, I price the project myself, based on rates i.e labour and material.

Once I have won it, I will get the contractors to price what I cannot do.

Hopefully I have allowed enough or its Marmite on toast for dinner for a while


One of my last projects, took a few weekends to smash it out on time. Client was a bit posh, but nice old lady to deal with.
