Really? He has stayed on the same line, hasn't he. If I change an order to increase the number I want to buy, my original order stays where it is and the extra get added to the bottom of the queue. If I change to a lesser amount, I keep my spot with just the number decreased. That's using amend (NOT cancel and new order). That has happened with every broker I have ever used, including commsec in the past and NAB more recently.

So you can't queue jump and get additional shares added onto your order at your original position but you can keep that position with the original amount (or less) shares. Hope that makes sense.
