You could though pack what you don't want anymore for the first location .
Then donate it ,pick up what you need for the next location .
Some shopping never hurt anyone if you know what you need .
We used the baggage service for transfers in Japan an pretty much just carried around with us carry on luggage all the time when going from place to place .
The good life did buy one more bag for the trip home with the goodies .
