Imagion Biosystems is currently conducting a Phase 1 clinical study of its MagSense® HER2 imaging agent. The imaging agent is specifically designed for breast cancer patients that test positive for the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2). This study aims to show that this new targeted imaging agent is safe and its potential to non-invasively stage breast cancer by detecting if cancer has spread to the lymph nodes.
