AFAIK the BPay 'ref number' assigned to you is unique to your account/HIN etc etc........a unique identifier if you will.
I've taken part in a few SPP's recently and also exercised options via BPay........ each time I've always had zero problems. Shares have always appeared in the account on specified dates and so on. The wait on option exercise was approx 3-4 days.
Others might have a different story..............just make sure you type those BPay numbers in correctly.......
