The truth behind it is best summarised in its simplest form.
If you want to better yourself you first have to really want and I mean really want it. Then you have to find a source of wisdom. The source must have a strong leader as this delineates the boundaries and encourages order. Order is good everyone knows their place. The source must have a common goal. The source has to contain other people who you respect You come to respect them because their knowledge far exceeds your own. Respect can only be earnt this takes time. When the people you respect offer you their thoughts listen. Apply the knowledge you have learnt to you daily strategies more importantly adjust it to find its boundaries. Adjust it to add your own experiences with what works for you. Adjustments= working knowledge and strengthen understanding, More application of the stratagies. Make sure you can benchmark your results to identify errors. Be consistant.
HC and the STT thread was my source of wisdom all those moons ago. I will not mention the names of my mentors out of respect of missing just one.
all the knowledge you seek to better yourself is out there you just have to find the source.... and, we will never stop learning.
PS that's not meant to sound like group Hug time!.. that's just how it is.
