This article perfectly explains the crash in Bitcoin this week... which has unfortunately brought down the other digital currencies with it.

Given this flaw in Bitcoins software protocol is fixable, it could be a good time to buy - not necessarily Bitcoin, but some of the newer, more sophisticated coins, which are less vulnerable.

ie Vertcoin has plummetted from $9 to $3 on this bad bitcoin news, which has wiped out over 50% of my profit, but I bought more at $5.50, then more at $3.50, and will be buying more at $2.50.


The start this week has been Maxcoin, up around 300% in the last day or two.
