STTCOMP CDT FA LONG
1. Currently the cheapest Graphite company on the ASX.
Graphite has experienced an increasing global focus among the ranks of the mined resource sector in recent years, largely due to its important role in electric vehicle (EV) battery chemistry.Concerns about Chinese supply and anticipated demand from lithium-ion battery mega-factories has sparked a huge amount of interest in the mineral from investors.Today, each EV battery contains between 40 and 60 kilograms of graphite material, and this offers a positive picture of the long-term outlook for graphite, many battery market analysts believe the mineral will remain a dominant material in EV batteries for at least the next decade.
ASX prices as at today
SYA $1.065
TLG $1.465
HZR $1.025
AXE $1.090
SVM $0.54
BEM $0.145
BKT $0.135
BUX $0.07
TON $0.047
CDT $0.010
2.Also a Gold Explorer
Compounding the potential of CDT is that it is also a gold explorer and is due to announce tomorrow on the results of the recent drill tests at Polelle in WA.
A recent corporate presentation outlines the following opportunities within Western Australia:
‣ Wanganui (Meekatharra - Gold):
Maiden 2,000m, 30-hole RC programme returned excellent
intercepts. Follow-up RC programme completed. Results imminent
‣ Polelle (Meekatharra - Gold):
Quality structural and lithological setting including the Albury
Heath Shear. Multi-target sampling campaign completed. Results imminent. Nine prospecting
licence applications
‣ Beasley Creek (Pilbara - Gold):
Quality exposure to under-explored northern margin of Rocklea Dome. Widespread gold anomalism in stream sediment sampling.
‣ Success Dome (Ashburton – Gold / Base Metals):
220km2 EL application within Ashburton structural corridor midway between Paulsen’s (ASX: NST) and Ashburton (ASX: KZR) gold projects
And while graphite represents a great opportunity the Managing Director has stated that Gold is his main aim.
Overall, with 2 different mineral offerings, this stock offers a great hedge opportunity, in my opinion It also has opportunities within Ghana but with such a volatile political environment I have discarded the potential impacts on future capacity for now.
OT...apologies to all for having messed up the post.....
