Have posted a while ago here how I've quite missed the STT, certainly a lot more quiet than a few years ago, realising as I typed this that a few years ago has now actually turned into 10 years! LOL) but this thread was quite fundamental (no pun intended) in helping me learn and it was great to share research here and read the research of others away from the individual stock threads that would be chaos. (It was also in this thread where I gained this "Heart" "ranking" which at the time was surprising but also felt like an honour too, whilst not anything special about having it, I try post in a manner that adds value and quality.)
So this is just a post from myself to re-connect with this thread and keen to try post my research and such more regularly here, get some level headed discussions.
My current sector focus is Gold, Silver, Rare Earths, Niobium, Antimony, Gallium, Copper with an eye on Lithium because with BESS growing significantly along with EV Trucks, Vans and other commercial vehicles, even shipping transporters are going EV; this is being ignored by the market or the Banks that talk about oversupply of Lithium but the issue is until that comes to the forefront (demand from BESS and Commercial Vehicles), lithium prices will remain low but it's one I'm keeping an eye on.
Rare Earths is similar, in that prices have been suppressed by China and this Ex-China narrative just isn't kicking things into gear for a scramble, nor is the China ban....not like how it did in 2020-2021.
Silver sector has seen its first (that I know of) major acquisition with a $2.1-Billion USD takeover from Pan-America Silver of MAG Silver, which is usually a sign of a sector about to see a Bullish run in its cycle. Not many Silver projects around let alone quality ones especially on the ASX.
Gold also seeing some M&A in central Vic with $1-B ALK merger (not sure if either of those have been discussed here already).
