Friend with funds managed by boutique fund $1 mil min, called up last week. Manager had been told to prepare for major event in Sept and Oct. Friend went in and manager moved funds to cash and defensive mode. First time ever happened, obviously big funds are cautious but bit of fear around the big end. I cashed in a few last week and being very selective.
