A couple of things to be sorted here:
1. Terminology in the 8W leaderboard:
The term "spotted" currently refers to the day a tip becomes effective in the 8W tables. However, I have realised (after seven years - yes, it took me that long!) that "spotted" is not the most accurate term in this context. Going forward, I will be replacing it with "effective". Hopefully, that clears up any confusion.2. Incorrect entry price for aceryx's tip:
There was an error in the entry price recorded for the tip in question. Had the correct price been picked up, Aceryx would have secured the top spot this week and also claimed the Purple Jersey. This is possibly the biggest mistake one can make in the ranking calculations.It was entirely my fault, and both the Bot
and I
sincerely apologise for the error.
I will post the corrected standings and updated leaderboard shortly.
