    Ah jeez I had forgotten about the treasury buying that is absolutely definitely not Q.E.

    Someone was explaining the difference and it made sense enough, kind of semantics whether it's Q.E. or not. What makes Q.E. actually Q.E. is the intention behind it? But it's still more or less doing the same thing, and that's going to get some people excited no matter how many times the Fed says it's not Q.E. I had kind of dismissed offhand but on closer inspection, it could have more of a significant impact than I thought. Just even more food for thought and yet another angle to factor into Friday's action. Giving an awful lot to stay on top of this week.
