I have found explorers very volatile and very dependent on results. Classic example is GSM mining next door to DEG, one has hit gold and one has hit nothing.
Obviously their reward is better but risk is certainly much higher.
Whereas miners and/or bullion in the vault has lower reward but gives a more direct and safer exposure to gold.
Given the US election coming and what not, it is quite likely gold will do well. What are your thoughts on explorers vs miners or direct purchase of gold ETF?
