Thanks Sharks, had a quick look and I think Applepay is focussed on making payments with your phone or watch? Possibly able to make payments from phone to phone?
I was looking for something to allow you to take payments via Paywave/Paypass on a mobile device. Thinking a large restaurant where every waitperson's phone could be used as a mobile EFTPOS terminal, or tiny start up businesses not having to outlay for an EFTPOS terminal, or every business in Southeast Asia with a smartphone suddenly being able to take card.
