Sort of weird things in the US markets today. Dislocations as we come into expirations tomorrow. ES/SPX had been stable on account of NQ/NDX recovering completely from the last two sessions of selling while DJIA is continues down below its 50 day average and the RUT small caps are also heading toward theirs own 50 day. That's a heck of a rotation trade. Right now at lunch, SPX is weakening but we have a ways to go before the close.
Gold is off substantially, and I guess no matter how you draw your trendlines, that drop from the April based trendline on the
daily chart has meaning. We could not get above the 61.8% retracement (1930) we neared at the start of June and GC futures for August delivery will settle near last November's swing low about 1775. That is also the 23.6% level on that retrace of the drop from August of last year, but the retraces that mattered were the 50% and 60% levels. BTC futures are just moving sideways, deviating from the longer term inverse correlation.
@golden6, I am still working on topics here in the dungeon, where I worry I may have to stay after today. I remembered you like art and then that I have a fair amount of artwork from DRC. Even two very large and maybe rare sculptures that sit in my living room. Will have to show you on another forum maybe as it’s a bit off topic.
