True bosco, viruses can be tough little buggers to kill outside their natural host habitats (living creatures). Most sanitizes won't do it for two reasons: it needs to be applied for long enough to get the job done, which many alcohol based liquids don't do by their fast drying time; and users won't use it as generously resulting in the little buggers - the viruses - getting missed.

This is why soap and water is far better, especially with RNA viruses. They have an enveloped oily type membrane that soap penetrates immediately and the internal RNA is exposed and killed. Furhermore, a good handwash will catch them all too. This is why doctors have used this method for years.

A new study on the pesky was released yesterday in the US. It prefers hard surfaces, like steel and plastic. Up to 3 day survival, but weakens proportionally over this period. Only 30 minute survival on cardboard. Wrap yourself in old coco-pop packets when you go outdoors. It does carry in the air as an aerosol, unlike what the WHO has claimed, but only for about 30 minutes before gravity works. Use an umbrella.

It also prefers Corona beer, but without the lime.
