IMO (advice from another newbie), STT thread is good. DT thread can be hard, because you have to be quick, and a lot of the time stocks have already moved before they're mentioned.
Hard to make money with $500. If your brokerage is $20, you need to make an extra 8.00% on average for each stock to break even.
