    I have to agree that charts keep things in perspective - Of course the frustrating part about the DXY and Gold charts is that they have an annoying habit of landing both in places simultaneously that can go both ways - always ambiguous - 


    It won't hurt me to keep trying to learn more - you guys that have been in the market for a long time have a great deal of knowledge - I like to know what your thinking... And thanks for the reading tips-


    The media these days plays a huge role, perhaps more than in times past perhaps- it can bounce things around quite violently with a dramatic news story- then rub it out the next day - 


    The next frontier for me to get a better grasp of the currency markets -


    The Gold chart itself gives a lot of information - in it's history.
