a smart thing to do is ride on the back of market-makers, truth is they are the backbone of trends up or down thanks to their deep pockets they have the ability to shape charts. even tho you can spot an elephant accumulating, selling or buying up on a chart, broker data allows you to CONFIRM if the event a related to a pro and or retailer. When your really trading like a pro, broker data then becomes relevant but if your buying because your gut is telling you its going to do well, or buying because of the fundamentals for the longer term and don't care too much about seeing your account is red which i try to avoid at all costs by cutting loses and following the market THEN broker data is irrelevant
