SGQ -- High-grade Cobalt potential...
Significant intersections from the 2008 drilling include: - Done by BHP
4m @ 4.9%Ni, 1.7%Cu , 0.11%Co and 3.9g/t total PGEs from 91.4m in drill hole MAD12
3m @ 3.8%Ni, 1.6%Cu, 0.18%Co and 2.7g/t total PGEs from 56.3m in drill hole MAD13 6m @ 3.3%Ni, 1.5%Cu , 0.12%Co and 2.7g/t total PGEs from 60m in drill hole MARC49
Recent drilling completed by SGQ..
Drilling intersects new high grade intervals of nickel-copper sulphide mineralisation in two previously untested electromagnetic (EM) conductors.. -- same area --
MAD15 intersected approximately 9m of sulphide mineralisation from 22.4m
The nickel values of the massive sulphide range from 6.7%Ni to 10.9%Ni and average 8.9%Ni. Copper values in the massive sulphide range from 1.24%Cu to 5.85%Cu and average 3.2%Cu.
MAD16 intersected approximately 9.5m of sulphide mineralisation from 51.7m
This intersection includes 2.25m of moderate-heavy disseminated and blebby sulphides with multiple massive sulphide stringers from 59m. The stringer and blebby sulphides have nickel and copper values up to 10- 15%Ni and 10-15%Cu
These metal values Ni & Cu were based on XRF analysis -- and so are awaiting lab analysis for PGE and high grade Cobalt potential..
