An interpretation for Oroya Mining Ltd (ASX:ORO) has identified five conductive anomalies
“highly prospective” for porphyry copper in Oroya’s 100% owned Orbost project in Eastern
Victoria (figure 1). The new analysis identified more than seven anomalies, several of which
are associated with old copper workings. As previously advised, Soaraway Development
Pty Ltd (Soaraway) was appointed to conduct a detailed interpretation. Soaraway is a major
shareholder of Oroya and is the mining subsidiary of China based Yucai Group.
