Its possible that you have been marked as inactive .... If you have not tipped for 4 months your marked is "Inactive" and hidden on the hall of fame... So people who's hall of fame entries goes grey have not tipped for a while... it then goes light grey signalling that are at risk of being marked as inactive.

This feature was designed to encourage people to keep tipping (especially jersey holders) and not rest on their laurels...

For a suspended tipsters to be fully reinstated you would simply need to submit a new tip and the "Tip clock" gets set back to zero.
