Nevertheless the point is all states need to work together, we are a country not a bunch of states that just work together sometimes.
QLD economy isnt doing well while it could have done far better, I dont think that point could be argued. That applies to most states at present simply because we have too many chefs in the kitchen. You wont be able to run a country in this manner. We are looking at full vaccination rollout in best case scenario by next year this time and thats IF everyone wants to be vaccinated and IF the vaccine works well. What we going to do? Shut borders every time someone sneezes? It doesnt work.
The border closures are perhaps the simplest way to deal with a problem but you can see the consequences across the board.
It is worthwhile to look into data coming out of tourism industry to understand whats going on

Im still interested as our area has been hit very hard no doubt . But have we been hit harder overall than say New South Wales or Victoria ? As in states ?
With Tourism as the focus ?
They are still big industries in both those states ?
