Weekly Fundamental and Technical Analysis Prospects - Week Starting 25th Mar 2013 (No. 58)

Here’s this week’s FA and TA List. The newer items first and those carried forward from last week towards back of list (some of the items from last week have a time horizon of more that one week).
All listed market caps are undiluted (and do not include escrowed shares) (Note: Max time for any entry on list will be 4 weeks after which time it will be removed).

Important Note: Remember just because it appears on the list does not necessarily mean it will rise in price... it may actually fall or do nothing. So it is critical that you perform detailed research on each stock first and make your own mind up to whether invest or not. I suggest you run a stop-loss at all times when trading/investing. How tight your stops are depends on your threshold to risk and financial pain. Lastly I take no responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided as I do not have the time to research all the facts that have been provided. Best of Luck.!

    Weekly Technical Analysis Prospects

MOD - Gold in NZ, Copper in Botswana,
    25/03/2013

See the high volume day a few weeks ago that’s the smarties getting in, see the little tick up on Friday that’s us retailers catching up. Don’t have a fancy name for it but I just see a high volume lift off from a long base pattern. Probably need it to break through 10c on volume for a confirmation of breakout. See it going back to 25c in short order, sky’s the limit on success !!! See Chart in Originating Post Link

SFX - HM sands Copper, Nickle in WA,
    21/03/2013

Current strength in a corrective market. Chart currently attempting to break to the upside from around 70 c with a bull flag forming around a previous high. Measured target, 161.8 fib and trend line all concur and suggested ST target of $1 or (30-40%). Divergence on leading indicators currently suggest this is going higher, Market permitting and of course- it could also break to the downside short term which would present an even better ST entry level IMO

    Weekly Fundamental Analysis Prospects

CTP - Oil/Gas in Central Australia,
    25/03/2013

The half yearly states that reserves will be announced in the next fortnight , probably directly after the Eater break . From a probable 17c open tomorrow Central will have to break a massive wall that should appear circa 20c . I believe the period where the options change their aspect from premium based to relative based is approaching . Hence I see a target price of 22.5c for the heads with the options fetching circa 7.5c . Giving them more or less equal value from the next move . A larger move on further news sees the options really taking off in relative gains . Farm out news in certainly in the offing

MOD - Gold in NZ, Copper in Botswana,
    25/03/2013

Drilling for multi million ounce gold deposit in NZ. Third Billionaire has just joined the company Peter Lim (see here for info on him http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Lim ), with James Packer, Twiggy Forrest, Chairman is Miles Kennedy, this guy has made more mining millionaires than anyone I know, from founding Macreas in NZ to SFR more recently 4c to $9.Just appointed new MD Julian Hanna founded WSA took them from 15c to 10.30 Botswana Copper Project (located between Discovery metal and Hanna Mining both the subject of recent takeover bids) is for sale and near completion according to most recent update, I expect that will yield the current MC in cash! TWO Diamond Drill Rig started drilling this weekend to expand the million ounce from surface JORC resource in place.

CNO - Fiji - Focussed on Copper,
    25/03/2013

CU is a hot sector and CNO has an almost guaranteed to produce good results drill programme coming up. At 4mil Market cap this has a JORC described as: "The Company intends to combine several geophysical surveys to highlight targets within and around the defined inferred resource of 4.53 million tonnes at 1.2% copper (Cu), 3.9% zinc (Zn), 29g/t silver (Ag) and 0.3g/t gold (Au)"This metal is worth an in ground resource value of almost a billion dollars with a high level of exploration upside expected. This stock got beaten down after its last drilling program focussed on areas outside of the main Udu area which yielded no significant results

CBS - Iron Ore in Brazil.,
    25/03/2013

The company has pegged 50 tenements and begun surface sampling some areas. It has found a 300m x 300m area with surface samples of 65% hematite with low impurities. Next step is to find out how deep it goes, and I would be surprised if it only extends a couple of meters below the surface. It is close to infrastructure, which often makes or breaks iron ore projects. There could be many other high grade zones, and further exploration is needed. Market cap at 3.9c is $10m and there is cash of around $5m I believe available to drill. EV of $5m is way too low. Very early days in a potentially significant iron ore discovery. There are not many high grade DSO hematite discoveries made these days.

BUR - Oil and Gas in US,
    22/03/2013

Share price has retraced from 4 cents to a current low of 1.2 cents due to the current well containing large amounts of water and problems associated with isolating the water. Currently they are finding remedies to block the water from entering the well and therefore reducing the water flow is quite possible if they do find a remedy this will have a very positive effect on the sp. Well is currently producing 350000 a month in gross revenue, so the well is far from unproductive.

    SFX - HM sands
    Copper, Nickle in WA,
    21/03/2013

Metallurgy results announcement due within the next 2 weeks in relation to Thunderbird which is the mineral sands project in Dampier, hopefully the momentum to drive it up off this level. The Main interest I have in this stock is Red Bull, Aircore and DD program will be also ann'ed in the coming mths. Intentionally this is a longer term hold for me but just a chance ATM to get in here at perceived good level prior to the frenzy that will follow once Red Bull anns start to become more anticipated by the mainstream. For those who are unaware Red Bull is the Nickel Project 20Kms from Nova.

MYN - Gold in WA, Iron in Guatemala,
    21/03/2013

Short term catalyst would be an acquisition as they are on the hunt or news about its Guatemala iron sands tenement. W.A. tenements cover approximately 219 square kilometres of the Gum Creek Greenstone Belt and are located 850 km north-northeast of Perth and 90km southwest of Wiluna. Access to the Gidgee tenements is by sealed road from Meekatharra, 120 kilometres to the northwest or from Sandstone, 140 kilometres to the south and then via station tracks. An abandoned railway easement runs from Wiluna to Mullewa where the current operating railway line from Mullewa to Geraldton is located. Infrastructure in the Mid West region is targeted for development by the WA Government to be focused on the planned Oakajee Port and Rail development.

CUU - Gold, Copper Uranium in Morocco & QLD,
    21/03/2013

In discussions with a jv partner who has been undertaking DD for a few months, so news soon - expect it might be JKO Mining who bought Deutsche Rohnstoff Au plant/tenements, also PNN's which surround CUU. Also East Frome. Recent announcements re Queensland lifting of Uranium mining ban, and NSW lifting of Uranium exploration ban (CUU have tendered) will benefit CUU. PDN mentioned jv partner for their Qld tenements (to be announced this Qtr) - a long shot, but a possibility?

RAI - Asian Focused Oil and Gas ,
    19/03/2013

Asian Focused explorer and developer which expects cash settlement of $6.5m-$7m so will be cash backed at current levels following the settlement while still retaining a $22m NPV at Cadlao = a further 5c which is almost carried to production. So 2c cash backing plus 5c in another asset plus x for all the other projects Blade has indicated its preference in reacquiring Raisama’s 25% Working Interest in the Cadlao Project by paying the Company $6.5 – 7 Million as stipulated within the farmin agreement between the parties. Subject to confirmation that Blade has secured project funding, Raisama has signalled its interest in progressing this settlement as a way of moving the project forward and recognising value in the Company’s 16.25% Working Interest held through VenturOil Philippines Inc (VenturOil). Raisama’s project interest held through Venture Oil attributes to Raisama approximately 1 mmbbl of 2P reserves, which Gaffney Cline and Associates has previously valued at $22 Million on an NPV basis

POK - Targeting high grade Potash Utah, USA,
    18/03/2013

Awaiting the issue of permits from the USA Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) drilling permit approvals process for POK’s subsidiary, K2O Utah, to drill on Federal land. Expected to be issued within the next few weeks! The issuance of the permits will give POK legal control over the land and allow independent geologist Agapito to define POK’s maiden JORC compliant resource. Potash Minerals Limited has earned 90% of the Paradox Basin Potash Project. The Company's focus is on sylvinite, a high grade form of potash ore that is cheaper and more effective to process to a saleable form than any other form of potash ore. An Exploration Target estimated by independent consultants Agapito Associates, Inc. for Potash Beds 13 and 18 of 3.4 to 5.2 billion tonnes of sylvinite at an average grade of 23% to 34% KCl has been delineated within the Project.

    DAU - Gold/Copper in WA,
    18/03/2013

With it's southern neighbour LSR seeing the largest volume in over a year on Friday and SRI releasing their plans for a sustained drilling campaign at Enigma 7kms to the southwest I think DAU is in the sweetspot with SRI stating that Enigma is " not constrained to the northeast" and that Sipa is "currently targeting primary sulphide mineralization which is likely controlled by northeast trending thrust faults and northwest trending accommodation faults "Not many shares on issue and a current EV of $0 DAU's SP will increase rapidly IMHO if a primary sulphide source is located in between Enigma and DAU
