You could look at/study AGS for a recent capital return.

Stock went up on announcement, creaped up once market thought is was confirmed...to 15c.
Cap return 12c, actually went under 3c and recovered to 3.4c now.

The better money was made in this case on buying the arbitrage and selling before actual cap return. Made about 20-25%.
