doing more reading and think that the market has completely overlooked the importance of Manganese in the Tesla Battery future.
I see that the Li-Cobalt connection has had a nice spill over effect into Cobalt , but it seems as if the NMC battery is much more efficient and effective, and as Elon Musk says ''There's quite a lot of manganese in there''
Strongly suggest people read the plans Elon Musk has for Manganese in his NMC battery production, which coincidentally is also the type of Lithium-Manganese battery that is used in BMW and Nissan's electric cars
This excerpt from Battery University explains that the NMC battery is superior than the traditional Li-Cobalt battery:
Manganese 6 month chart also shows a nice 35% gain, I reckon from the increasing demand for this commodity moving forward..
