I invested in AVB about 5-7 years ago around 7c ... One of the directors at the time pumped up the price and then dumped $20m into the spike... The price has barely moved for 5 years !!! It was a good project initially (Antas) but I just didn't like the mgmt team so exited @ breakeven ...suffice to say the long suffering AVB shareholders will be released from their prison sentence shortly hopefully at a premium for some. The most successful directors IMHO are the ones that are not just in it for themselves but really want share holders to benefit as well... Once shareholders detect this they hold on to their shares and price re-rates strongly.. a symbiotic relationship really. Needless to say AVB share price never did re-rate properly shareholders just got dilution after dilution.
