    COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Antilles Oil and Gas NL (AVD, formerly Advance Energy Limited) is an oil and gas exploration company. AVD is developing strategic relationships with seismic and drilling contractors to provide capabilities required to win high quality acreage.

From their recent quarterlies: "During the quarter the Directors of Antilles Oil and Gas NL continued their work to identify and evaluate other new projects or asset acquisition opportunities, both within the resources sector and other sectors outside resources. As at the date of this report (on 26/02/18), no commercial discussions are at a stage that would warrant any disclosure."

    COMMENTARY ON T20 HOLDERS
    • Peter Wall increased his position significantly between 2016 and 2017. David Wall also entered the list.
    • Aldo Sacco, Neeshams and Coulson got themselves in as new holders by 2017. Stephen Silver also increased his position.
    • Jason Peterson increased his positions on his two T20 lots under Celtic. He holds 9.2M shares in 4 different lots.
    • Nicole Gallin and Kyle Haynes (an Associate Director at CPS, who once attempted to become a director at AVD, but failed) increased their position significantly between two annual reports. They have further added 850k, and also hold another 1M outside T20. They become the top holder with combined 8.50% of shares. They hold only 6 other decent positions across ASX, in MEI, S3R and BLZ, and three more small caps. This is the only stock they occupie more than one T20 slot.
    • Multiclient Geophysical and Havoc have not changed their positions (see below for details on Novac).
    • Ex-Managing Director and founder David Ormerod still holds his 'share' of shares tight.
    • Director Damian Black was in T20 by 2016, but apparently has been dropped due to the new entrants. Hope he still has his skin in the game.
    • Most importantly, none of the current Top20 holders has sold a single share between the two previous report times. It would be very interesting to see the next T20 which is not far from now.

    HAVOC PARTNERS (a Top20 holder)
Havoc is a natural resources investment partnership focused primarily on the oil and gas sector. The five founding partners of the business are geoscientists who have worked together for more than 16 years and collectively have more than 100 years of international upstream experience.

Havoc has some proven (but only recent) track record in helping a few stocks to run through their technical and strategical involvement.

In May 2017, Havoc-owned Calima back-door entered ASX via APY (now CE1) and had a decent run to sit at $27M Market cap currently.

In October 2017, Havoc signed an another agreement with PVD to provide technical services. PVD reached a market cap of $22M in 30 days. AVD founder Ormerod (still holds AVD shares) was apparently behind this deal. It is notable that he was the founder of PVD too.

Havoc currently holds the top position in the T20, and sitting there for a couple of years now. With the evidence of, but slowly growing, interest by some big players, I believe that there is something happening behind the scenes. To quote their mention on an acquisition in the quarterly again: "AVD continued their work to identify and evaluate other new projects or asset acquisition opportunities, both within the resources sector and other sectors outside resources"!

    POSITIVES:
    • Great registry with big players already set in
    • Very low Market Cap, and Cash in Hand (which makes EV < $1M)
    • Looking for acquisition (possibly via an RTO)
    • Low risk / high reward
    • Not much discussion in HC / SM
    NEGATIVES:
    • Relatively illiquid currently, hence, diffcult to take a decent position without affecting SP
    • May take a bit longer to run ('acquisition talk' has been there since their past three quarterlies)
I am pretty sure many of the experienced shell hunters here on HC have already 'got their popcorns ready' for this nice little shell. Putting my piece of research together as a tip here (despite of the high risk of not getting required gain in 4 weeks time frame )hoping this information might be helpful for someone to make a quid - but patience is the key here IMHO.
(Please note this is not a buy advice by any mean. Specially the newbies, please DYOR and take buying decisions only if this matches your strategy.)"
