I also take into account other world indicies :- FTSE, DAX , CAC, NIKK, SSEC, HSG as well as VIX and USB30(US 30yr bond ) to give me a better overall picture then look at OZ All Ords and sub indicies there in. Along with there associated move averages 10EMA , 30EMA, 150SMA and 200SMA, RSI, MACD values, Candles sticks and trendlines, Support and resistance areas.

For example, VIX whilst rising closed well off day highs today so I'm expecting a pause or slight reversal Friday night in the US. This however could all change on a pivotal unforeseen world news event +ive or -ive.

This post is a superficial view but gives a roughie snapshot at a point in time with 24 hour outlooks only

USD might help the bull case for the US indicies tomorrow.

Overnight, as if repelled by the 50 dma, the USD put in a bearish engulfing candle. This candle, as we know, means business. That's it for the dollar bulls for now. The dollar bear trend resumes and the gold bugs heave a sigh.

The S&P500 has been crudely inverse correlating lately and a weaker dollar might help deliver an UP day in the US tomorrow.
