Weekly Fundamental and Technical Analysis Prospects - Week Starting 27th Jan 2015 (No. 150)

Here’s this week’s FA and TA List. The newer items first and those carried forward from last week towards back of list (some of the items from last week have a time horizon of more that one week).
All listed market caps are undiluted (and do not include escrowed shares) (Note: Max time for any entry on list will be 4 weeks after which time it will be removed).

Important Note: Remember just because it appears on the list does not necessarily mean it will rise in price... it may actually fall or do nothing. So it is critical that you perform detailed research on each stock first and make your own mind up to whether invest or not. I suggest you run a stop-loss at all times when trading/investing. How tight your stops are depends on your threshold to risk and financial pain. Lastly I take no responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided as I do not have the time to research all the facts that have been provided. Best of Luck.!

    Weekly Fundamental Analysis Prospects

CAS - Gold and cheap iron ore miner [ in Brazil] [27/01/2015]
Some questions surround financing deals, with the millionaire factory, but nice drill intercepts out prior to Christmas re drilling/gold. Highlights from Last Quarterly had sales receipts circa $5.4m, $1m Gross profit iron ore production costs circa $15/T looking for healthy quarterly report to put it back on the radar after dropping recently from circa 40c to recent 20c lows. Last quarterly - $6m in the bank, quarterly costs of $5.7m with forecast cash burn of $4.6m. Obviously next quarterly due out, Looking for healthy quarterly report to put it back on the radar after dropping recently from circa 40c to recent 20c lows. SP closed at $0.25, can move quickly with limited stock up for sale at times. Usual propagandist analyst reports have price target at $0.54 CAS chairman has skin in the game, using personal funds, always a good sign There are quality HC posts by guns such as JID if anyone wants to do further research

PYM - Oil and Gas [27/01/2015]
I know I am crazy to tip something from this sector but it is indeed amongst the best... Market cap 5m, cash 8.4m. Three successful wells been drilled and paid for... The first came into production with 62bopd and increasing... This is the first well amongst the three which will be production tested soon. The other two have got better hits so oil production may be a bit more as compared to this but the worst case scenario of 60b per oil will see them producing 180b from three wells. Another two wells are about to be drilled soon once as early as next week. The development cost of $18 per b and production cost $12 per b equals to $30.00 per b... Even if the worst prediction regarding oil prices of $30.00 comes true PYM will still be break even. However, if oil stays above $50 that will see PYM very profitable. The lease is also surrounded by billion dollar outfits... Surely this represents a very nice investment opportunity

CDV - Gold explorer active in Ghana [27/01/2015]
MC - $4.8m cash - $1.3M SP - 5 cents, Directors hold 19% of stock so plenty of skin in the game ,top 20 hold about 54% Since mid August there have been 8 announcements by CDV detailing decent high grade gold assays with good intervals at shallow depth. In late September they announced a option entitlement issue where holders could buy a 2019 expiry option with a 15c exercise price for 1c .It initially closed under-subscribed and last Thursday after close of trade an announcement appeared to the effect that the option shortfall had been taken up. I think sophisticated investors have taken them up and will now have the incentive to move the price sharply higher. There is still assays outstanding for about 3000 metres of drilling at Namdini so I expect a steady flow of news regarding good gold hits. In their Mines and Money Presentation in December on pages 7 and 8 mention was made of the Shaanxi Gold Processing plant 6.5kms from Namdini under a photo"titled" Path to Production". It seems to me that management are negotiating a toll treatment agreement for their shallow ore to quickly monetize this deposit. IMO last Thursday's announcement was the "smoke signal" to indicate a sharp mover higher over coming weeks. Below are just some of the assay grades and intersections from Namdini between August and November. The last two weeks have seen further releases of good assays results as well.

CVT - Cloud Based Enterprise Network Security [27/01/2015]
Cocoon was incorporated on 15 October 2007 to develop and commercialise a new approach to IT security. Cocoon has designed and implemented a data protection solution that incorporates three core principles: Strong encryption (securing the data); Rights management (defining what you can or can’t do with the data); Audit (visibility into who did what with the data). Using this patented technology, Cocoon has developed the Covata Platform which for patent purposes is referred to as “Secure Objects Technology”. The Covata Platform (a name derived from “covert data”) was developed as an enterprise specific solution to manage data security at an object level, providing an outward facing data-centric approach. The Covata Platform technology is designed such that cryptographic keys, which are used to encrypt and decrypt data files, are stored separately from the data and managed centrally. This provides the customer with the flexibility to choose to maintain control of their encryption keys on-premises, while using another location, such as cloud storage, for protected data. This enables the organisation to be confident that the integrity and security of their data is maintained, whilst leveraging the cost effectiveness and scalability of the cloud. The Covata Platform also allows other technologies, applications, or application connecting code to run on, or alongside, it. This allows the technology to be integrated to connect into existing systems within an enterprise, thus enabling the organisation to leverage the functions of the Covata technology whilst still using its existing applications/services. Things have gone very quiet over at CVT. After an initial a slight sell off after listing and then a tech frenzy based run thereafter. I think punters lost enthusiasm for CVT as other tech stories like OIL and NXR etc began to boil and I also do not think the fact that it has an MC of $70m before it really sells anything has made peeps wary . However..... I am confident Trent Telford and his team have been diligently working behind the scenes to land a commercial agreement and I do not think it will be long before this is announced and we will see the start of a re-rate to well past 52 week highs....or....a bag from the current SP. In a recent phone call to the company I was told Trent was away in Europe on business so I would not be surprised to see something come from that. And let's not forget who they have on their team . Google Chuck Archer, Vic Winkler, Phillip Dunkelberger. Serious US hitters in their fields

MC: $35M but fluctuating wildly. Cash $5.8M Shares: 25M Listed yesterday, has already 4x bagged for those who bought as part of the IPO. As a result of that I feel some will take profits early next week after allowing the market to have a free swing today. There will no doubt be some volatility over the coming weeks until we settle down with a more accurate sp and MC. The initial euphoria of the listing will wear off shortly and I expect the trading to settle around the 40-50c markin the near future, until of course we start to get some news flowing.

The company has a Oncolytic Virus Technology (CAVATAK) that promotes an immune response to target and kill cancer cells. Bioshares tipped the company as one of their top 6 stocks for 2015. Bell Potter analyst believes fair value is $0.75. The company has $25 mil in cash which is unheard of for a biotech completing trials, they are funded through 2016. The company raised the funds last year through specialist healthcare insto investors - they know what they are on to. On 4/12 the company announced commencement of trial. In the announcement the company states: Treatment with CAVATAK will be on days 1, 3, 5 and 8 and then both agents will be co-administered on days 22, 43, 64 and 85. 370M shares on issue, so at 0.3c its capped at just over $1M $800k cash by my calculations MFC who were the overhang with 29M shares were bought off market at 0.4c Cons Mins a private company took a placement of 50M shares at 0.5c So 89M shares have been bought at up to a 66% premium in the past few months The company said to expect an update in early February. So hopefully they will announce a new project or asset coming in, and you would expect the price to rerate to at least 1-2c. 1c would be capped at $3.7M, with $800k cash and a project - very reasonable Now the kicker is they have a case against Liongold for $13M, mediation is planned for middle to end of February. Most people expect them to chase a settlement of $2-3M, which would be several fold the current cap in cash. Chance of winning, who knows but it is an added bonus to an already cheap play IMO 2 potential catalysts within the next few weeks, both seem fairly substantial if successful

Alara has two issues that need solving before any re-rate can or will occur a) the claims against them and b) the cancellation of the JV mining license they held with Cameltoe and Sons which will see that license either out on the open market again ( in which case Alara are already well ahead of the pack with a completed DFS and a Prince hovering in the background ) or...even better....awarded straight to Alara. Regarding NEU. I think it's due for a settling at this price, may be a little more in it for a crack at nineteen. Probably no higher just yet. I've been trying to sus out the charts and have at looked at weeklies, monthlies short and long. It seems to me the pullback will be short and the next rise will be a while but it's going to double from here. It's got liquidity. The Stochastics read different over different times and it's bollies show a need for restraint but the OBV is strong and moving averages are all positive, that's short and long. The MACD is very strong. Nice 11c spread from recent bottom of eight cents is a repeating range. So technically a high of around thirty cents. Strong buying interest should continue but it's slightly overbought right this week

The share has been on a strong uptrend this month since the new year. The RSI on the daily chart indicated that the share was overbought and is now stable with an RSI of 69 after two red days. There seems to be a pattern with the RSI at the moment. The share price (accompanied by the RSI) increases, then becomes overbought when RSI is around 88. The sp then decreases while the RSI is cooling off. The RSI is now sitting at the bottom of that pattern and I anticipate there may be future upward movements. I am slightly apprehensive about this stock because RSI on the weekly chart indicates that this company is overbought with an RSI value of 77. However previous highs for weekly RSI for this stock have been in the 80s, so this stock may go for one more run before it turns.
