Fintech was always going to be hot... you see smart money enters into the sector followed by massive marketing like articles, publications, research reports etc and then comes the reward stage... so if we see the money flow/investments in Fintech space in last few years, it has broken all predictions of analysts by a mile... so the predicted figures for 2018 were achieved by 2015... also important to note that the decent moneyflow only started in 2010 but that was in millions only... from top of my head it was 300m and by 2012 it increased many folds and trend continues... the flux of marketing like articles publications research reports started early 15 and reached to peak by end 15.... iI have read so many articles re the importance of Fintech and how important for this space to adapt to innovation...
Anyway, IMO Fintech has now reaching to reward stage for best dressed like IAM and CR8 in small caps... the rest of the stocks will catch up later IMO...

But lets see how we go!

Yes I agree completely, although my research on the industry was likely not as in depth as yours. My main reason I was bullish was when I saw Fintech booming in U.S, absolutely rocketing in investment and moneyflow over there and the trend I noticed was that whatever becomes big in U.S follows soon in Aus.

This was also confirmed today by Anthony from Direct Money today at the CR8 seminar. Stated U.S will always remain 1-2years ahead of Australia in financial services and financial tech.

Its creative innovation, engagement for banks orrrr die out.

Also congrats @minoil on the heart mate, been reading (..stalking) your research recently and fair to say I've learnt alot from your methodology on what to look for in the tiny caps.
