The overnight futures (ESH18) tested the 2830 area. Yesterday's intraday bounce at the 2860 area was weak - NYSE breadth - A/D lines and up volume was abysmal. NYSY TICK was trending down most of the day. With breadth so low and VIX spiking so much, I am surprised it did not sell off more aggressively.
If market internals continue to support further downside today, I will be fading bounces.
@lifeguard22 is right to have his trigger finger ready.
As for options structure for Wednesday's expiration in the SPY, yesterday's dynamics showed pin potential at the 282.50 area - but major put support is much lower. Pardon the scribbles.
