The $US seems to be regaining strength tonight... that's not supposed to happen with the furious liquidity injection by the Fed.
$AUD is falling and gold price in our $'s is holding. If the $US continues to rise the markets will take another down step (imo) because it's an indication the intervention is not working. Confirmation would be gold price rising in $US terms as well... which so far tonight is not happening.
I might be completely wrong but that's how l am analysing things.
