Weekly Fundamental and Technical Analysis Prospects - Week Starting 30th Jul 2012 (No. 26)

Here’s this week’s FA and TA List. The newer items first and those carried forward from last week towards back of list (some of the items from last week have a time horizon of more that one week).
Again, I have taken the liberty of adding some info where it was unclear or fixing typos where I came across them. Hope no one minds. I have reduced the list to 10 or so items again. If you would like me to change your item then please let me know and I will update and I will re-issue. Will open for submissions on next week’s list this Friday after market close. All market caps are undiluted and were correct at time of posting (Note: Max time for any entry on list will be 4 weeks after which time it will be removed).

Important Note: Remember just because it appears on the list does not necessarily mean it will rise in price... it may actually fall or do nothing. So it is critical that research it first and make your own mind up to invest or not. I suggest you run a stop-loss at all times when trading/investing. How tight your stops are depends on your threshold to risk and financial pain. Lastly I take no responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided by Spotters as I do not have the time to research all the facts that have been provided. Best of Luck.!

RFX Large capacity, grid scale energy storage batteries systems. Production delays, staff cuts, and a sell off by ex director and a few institutions has triggered a huge slide in share price, out of sync with potential and top 20 holders. Redflow are already selling to and talking to some big multi billion dollar names, so good news could come at any time. Ausgrid, Powerco, Uni of Qld, Florida gulf coast Uni,. Uni of Arizona, Sprint Telecom, Enerco, Jaibil circuit and others they cannot mention by name yet. With quarterly due they may release positive news very soon, especially as they will need to raise a bit of cash soon to cover the next few months development. Seems very cheap compared to the likes of CFU CWE etc. Just about all potential priced out of it... without good reason. Huge potential, up there with the best energy storage prospects, in a sector that is set to take off in a hurry (Mcap:$5.3m)
    [Undervalued Green/energy storage related company]

ENT Gold Base metals Uranium and Iron across a range of tenements in the South and Mid west of Western Australia. Stock has surged on Friday and the only reason I can see for the move is that the company has some land holding (called the Fraser Range project) along strike from Sirius Resources (SIR:ASX). Sirius recently announced the discovery of High grade Nickel and Copper at shallow depth and across a Geophys anomaly of 800m under cover which heralds the discovery of a new mineral province. This may continue to lift the neighbours of SIR (Mcap:$24.5m)
[Possible nearology play to neighbour to Sirius Resources new Nickel /Cu Discovery]

FOY Copper Gold New Guinea, Currently focussed on mineral resources opportunities in Papua New Guinea. The Company holds a 50% interest (and has an option over the other 50% interest) in a major iron sands exploration target at Amazon Bay located on the coast,170km south east of Port Moresby, and is currently assessing development options for this project. The Company is also exploring for gold and copper in 100% owned licence areas, covering over 8,000 square kilometres, and is currently mobilizing for an IP survey on a copper porphyry system at Atui, in south New Britain. They announced a jv with another mining group TVI Pacific and it will be decided by the end of the month. Hope it's a good deal and if it is, easy 100% return from current level. (Mcap:$6.1m)

QPN Oil/Gas in Indonesia in the South Sumatran Basin. Has large land holding in hydrocarbon rich South Sumatran Basin region. Recent “Joint Study” estimates un-risked potential resources of 55m Bo or 140Bill CF... Recent gas discovery made 50km north of Quest’s 80% owned Ranau production sharing contract (PSC). The 3 Sumatran basins (North, Central and South) combines to have (47,000 MMboe) of prospects which is nearly twice that of Australia’s North West shelf (29,000 MMboe) but Sumatra has a much higher density of oil and gas discoveries. The PSC has significant oil and gas prospective resources in four new and very lightly explored sub-Basins which form an extension of the prolific South Sumatra Basin. - Gas discovered in this area can be rapidly commercialised through the South Sumatra – West Java (SSWJ) gas transmission pipelines and processing infrastructure which supply large markets in Sumatra, West Java and Singapore. Stock has been held back by uncertainty around funding of 3 hole drilling program. Company last week announced Cap Raise and (Assuming all funds received) will have cash to start drilling. Company currently trading below the CAP raise price of 0.006 (Mcap:$10m)

Is the global leader in Underground Coal Gasification (UCG), which delivers a synthesis gas feedstock to supply commercially viable energy solutions – such as electricity, transport fuels and oil production – through gas turbine combined cycle power generation, Gas to Liquids (GTL) Fischer-Tropsch processing and Enhanced Oil Recovery. Lots of opinions exist out there on this one. Good trading stock that Insto's look to be coming in and out of. Quarterly due, and expected to be some positive news as long as rate of cash burn under control. Updates due on GCL joint venture china, and of note oil production has been reported as continuing to increase. From reading HC forums, seems like a lot have been burned that bought in around the high $1 range towards $2....when I cut through the noise appears to me like their stop losses mustn't have been working. Good entry points here. (Mcap:$2654m)

They continue to firm up All resources, just finished CR and look to be set for a while, and amongst other things, will no doubt have the ruler run over it by peer companies that it has managed to annoy and get in the way of. Start of May was trading close to $1.10. Interests are broad and well success has been outstanding (Mcap:$688m)
