    Jas,
For the record, you're not alone and I know where you head's at.
About 6 years ago I was in exactly you same position. I lost everything on a dog of a shell that I fell in love with.
I was so convinced it was going to solve all my problems.
I was sick in the guts for weeks/months and still cringe when I think about it.
I timed myself out on stocks for a couple of years and buried myself in my day job.
I still have a massive capital loss carrying forward(almost 6 figures)and only my accountant knows that.
Since that loss, I've paid around $400k off a small farm that I bought in 2014 from my day job which is my dream retirement. Only 5yrs or so to go.
Learn from the experience. Things will improve eventually.
