AUD short position probably has merit with recent historic anomoly of interest rate disparity moving in USA's favour. Know importers are increasing degree of foward cover and trend is defined.

Don't think property prices will drop significantly until number of people trying to enter the market > those already in, too much political capital at stake and with an aging demograhic the pollies are not going the make the neccessary decisions .............

Became the family bank for son to purchase in Sydney about 6 mths ago, real eye opener and don't really think we (as a nation) have thought this through in light of social and generational outcomes but discussion for another thread I suggest.

But agree the AUD looks fragile.
